Wayne County Empowered Pantry in conjunction with the Wayne Metro Head Start in Dearborn Heights, MI will allow families that attend Headstart access to the fresh produce and dry goods while providing an educational and engaging experience for the students. The Empowered Pantry and its contents will be designed with a planned stocking strategy that is nutritionally intentional and will aid in the education of selecting foods that support and promote a balanced and healthy diet. The design promotes an interactive experience between parents and children through tailored organization of the inventory and creates an energetic atmosphere through dynamic shapes and colors.
